From Queenstown (90.5km/1h 20min) – little longer but shorter gravel roads

Take the R67 to Whittlesea. 26.5km after Whittlesea turn left onto the Cathcart road. Follow the tar road for 2km and then turn right on to the Hogsback road (gravel road). Continue on this road for 14.5km, until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction turn left, after 1km Winston Farm will be on your right.

From Queenstown (88km/1h 10min) – little shorter but a lot less comfortable

Take the N6 to Cathcart, after the Caltex garage turn right onto the Fort Beaufort road. 2km along this road turn left on to the Hogsback road (gravel road). Continue for 25km and Winston Farm will be on your left.

From East London (156km/1h 50min) – little longer but shorter gravel roads

Take the N6 to Cathcart, via Stutterheim. Before entering Cathcart, turn left on to the Fort Beaufort road. Continue along the road for 23km and turn left onto the Hogsback road (gravel road). Follow this road for 14.5km, until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction turn left, after 1km Winston Farm will be on your right.

From East London (144km/1h 40min) – little shorter but a lot less comfortable

Take the N6 to Cathcart, via Stutterheim. Before entering Cathcart, turn left on to the Fort Beaufort road. 2km along this road turn left on to the Hogsback road (gravel road). Continue for 25km and Winston Farm will be on your left.

From Port Elizabeth (290km/3h 15min)

Take the N2 to Grahamstown. Once past Grahamstown turn left onto the R67 towards Fort Beaufort. Continue along the R67 until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction turn right onto the R63/R67 for 650m. At the next T-junction turn left onto the R67 towards Queenstown. Continue along the R67 for 69.5km and then turn right onto the Cathcart road. Follow the tar road for 2km and then turn right on to the Hogsback road (gravel road). Continue on this road for 14.5km, until you reach a T-junction. At the T-junction turn left, after 1km Winston Farm will be on your right.
